The summer months are the busy season for the moving industry but Sacramento Movers do not let cold weather slow the momentum. Throughout the autumn months Sacramento Moving Company has focused its attention on training and career advancement for movers, drivers, and move consultants. Several new movers have been added to the crew, each going through three days of training in the company's warehouse before being sent out on a job to move an actual customer.

Inside Sacramento Movers' office, the move consultants have been busy watching webinars online and taking classes to improve sales techniques and refine all aspects of the sales process. These classes are a part of a career advancement program which certifies movers, drivers, trainers, managers and customer service representatives at Sacramento Moving Company. The program was launched in the Spring of 2012 offering Sacramento Moving Company employees with the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for each employee to excel in their role with the company. At Sacramento Moving Company, three employees have become certified customer service representatives under this career advancement program including Heather Brown, Jennifer Dinatale, and Carolyn Durkee.

The move consultants at Sacramento Moving Company have also tested for certifications through the American Moving And Storage Association (AMSA) including the Certified Move Consultant (CMC) certification and the Certified Office and Industrial Consultant (COIC). These certifications are given to move consultants who have learned the proper techniques for estimating and pricing moves as well as informing customers of the valuation options available to them and following through on complaints after the move. Each consultant takes a fifty question test through the AMSA to receive their certification. At Sacramento Moving Company, all managers and move consultants maintain both CMC and COIC certifications through the AMSA by taking the tests annually.

The goal of Sacramento Moving Company is to continually exceed customers' expectations through value and high standard of service. The company strives to reach this goal by continual efforts to train and advance employees, equipping them to better serve the company's customers.
