Sacramento resident, Kristina Smith wants to be Oprah's next TV Network Star

Sacramento business owner and wedding professional Kristina Smith goes for her dream of a talk show on Oprah's new network OWN.

Sacramento, CA, June 23, 2010: Kristina Smith owner of Wish Bridal in Sacramento has submitted a 3 minute audition video for a chance to be Oprah Winfrey's next star. On May 14, 2010, Oprah in partnership with realty TV producer Mark Burnett launched the contest search looking for the next TV star. Contestants needed to submit a video no longer then 3 minutes in length showing their talent and idea for a show. After video approval contestants are free to solicit votes via their social networks as well as vote for themselves. Kristina's video is a 3 minute view in the world of a bridal dress consultation with a twist - two brides literally have a "cat fight" as Kristina talks to the camera. Just before the "fight" gets out of hand Kristina steps in as the voice of reason with real talk and out of the box advice to calm the two "bridezillas". Kristina's video is appropriately titled "Making Over Bridezilla", a truly unique idea in the wedding industry where most shows highlight the negative and extravagant behaviors associated with today's modern weddings.

Voters can vote as often as they want until end of the contest close date of July 3, 2010 at 11:59pm without a need for site registration.
