SalesLoft Announces New Parental Leave Program

New Progressive Benefits Reinforce Company's Commitment to Diversity

SalesLoft, the sales engagement platform on a mission to help sales organizations deliver better selling experiences, today announced its new Parental Leave Policy, which includes an impressive range of benefits for new parents.

SalesLoft has expanded its parental leave benefits to support all parents with additional flexibility and time to bond with their new child and adjust to their new family dynamic. The company believes this flexibility and family-friendly policies are essential to cultivating a culture where employees can thrive professionally without sacrificing essential family obligations.

We want our employees to know that we are here for them and support their decision and we're excited to provide these new benefits to our future parents at SalesLoft.

Christine Kaszubski, Chief People Officer

“Every employee should have the ability to start and grow a family - however the employee and his or her partner define this significant life event - without having to worry about the impact this decision will have on their career,” says Christine Kaszubski, Chief People Officer, SalesLoft. “We want our employees to know that we are here for them and support their decision and we’re excited to provide these new benefits to our future parents at SalesLoft.”

All employees who are expecting or who plan to adopt and who have been employed for at least 12 months are eligible for the new parental leave benefits. SalesLoft’s Parental Leave Program is on par with the most progressive employers today, and includes the following benefits:

  • 12 weeks of paid maternity leave or 6 weeks of paternity and/or adoption leave
  • Bi-weekly maid service for 12 weeks
  • Meals twice a week for 12 weeks
  • 12-month supply of diapers

In addition to its parental leave benefits, once an employee is ready to return to work, SalesLoft also provides a four-week transition period - allowing employees to split their time between the office and home and gradually adjust to their new work-life schedule.

“We know employees can’t go from full-time caregiver back to full-time employee overnight,” adds Kaszubski. “We believe it’s just as important to ease a returning employee back into his or her job as it is to onboard them in the first place.”

According to the most recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, as of 2016, only 13 percent of all private workers had access to paid family leave. Twenty-four percent of workers in management, professional, and related occupations had access to family leave, more than any other occupation (Source: BLS, November 2016).

“We are committed to providing our employees with the best employee benefits around,” adds Kaszubski. “This program is one example of how SalesLoft is taking a leadership position in our industry and demonstrates our commitment to both current and future employees who are part of our ‘Lofter’ family.”

SalesLoft’s new parental leave benefits were rolled out to new employees earlier this month and all current employees who meet the program’s criteria are now eligible for these benefits.
