Salwan Media Names Ajit Motwani As CEO For Education Business
Online, September 28, 2011 (Newswire.com) - New Delhir: Salwan Media Private Limited today announced Ajit K Motwani as Chief Executive Officer of its education business. Ajit will lead Salwan Media's entry into the Vocational Training & Skills Development sector - part of a $14 billion higher education market in India. Additionally, Ajit will serve on the advisory board of BrainGain Magazine. Ajit brings with him nearly 30 years of diversified consulting experience in organizations such as Institute of International Education (IIE) and Educational Consultants India Ltd (Ed.CIL).
According to PwC report - Emerging Opportunities for Private and Foreign Participation in Higher Education, India has 587 million people are below the age of 25. Ajit has also shared his knowledge on various platforms such as National Association for Foreign Student Advisers (NAFSA, USA), University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific [UMAP, Bangkok], Emerging Directions in Global Education, The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, The United States-India Educational Foundation, Indian Central Universities, Indian Education Congress and National Education Summit to name a few. He was also a Member of India advisory Board of Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) and has been invited by Ministry of Human Resource Development to participate in the Task Force Meeting for planning All India Survey on Higher Education.
