Samsung Extends Christmas Bonus Offers Following High Consumer Demand

Online, December 23, 2010 (Newswire.com) - SYDNEY, Australia -Samsung Electronics Australia today celebrated another successful year leading the Australian TV industry. GfK sales data shows that three out of four 3D TVs sold between March and October in Australia was a Samsung . Due to the demand for Samsung's 3D technology, Samsung Electronics Australia has added another 10,000 3D Bonuses to its Christmas TV promotion, with the first 15,000 already snapped up. The new 3D Bonus package not only offers a Samsung 22" Series 4 LED TV and four pairs of Samsung 3D glasses, but now includes all four of Dreamwork's much loved Shrek movies for the very first time on 3D Blu-ray, exclusive to Samsung.

An additional 10,000 Samsung Blu-ray players has also been added to the 2D Bonus pool. The extension of these Bonuses ensures last minute Christmas shoppers looking to upgrade their TV can take advantage of this great offer. The 3D Bonus package is valued at $1,294 RRP and is available with the purchase of select Samsung TVs with 3D technology. The 2D Bonus is valued at $299 and is available with the purchase of select 2D Samsung TVs.

In addition, Samsung has also extended its promotion for the premium Samsung Series 9 3D LED TV, offering a bonus matching HT-C9950 3D Blu-ray Home Theatre System, valued at $2,399 RRP, with every TV purchase.

Promotion Details
As of today, consumers purchasing one of eleven Samsung 3D enabled TVs will receive Samsung's highest ever valued bonus package at $1,294 RRP, containing:
• A 22" Samsung Series 4 LED TV (UA22C4000)
• Four pairs of battery powered Samsung 3D glasses
• Four Shrek 3D Blu-ray movie titles

Purchase one of nine select 2D Samsung TVs and consumers will receive a bonus 3D Blu-ray player (BD-C5900) valued at $299 RRP.

Purchase a Samsung Series 9 3D LED TV and consumers will also receive a bonus 3D Blu-ray Home Theatre System (HT-C9950) valued at $2399 RRP.

All three promotions run through to 9 January 2011 or until all Bonuses have been redeemed, whichever comes first.
