San Diego Sales Contest Impacts The Economy With Jobs And Business Revenue

Next Productions is holding a marketing contest where the winner receives a $100k job and other contestants get cash prizes and job interviews with companies. The VP Contest also provides revenue for five local companies and benefits the economy.

Next Productions, a marketing and production company, has announced the San Diego Area final interview and audition schedule for its new sales and marketing contest, THE VP SALES CONTESTâ„¢. Sixteen contestants go through a seven week elimination process while competing to sell a new company's product or service every week. The winning contestant has their choice of a $100,000 position or an $8,000 cash prize. Next Productions is also granting other cash prizes, job interviews with companies and prizes for other contestants. The company is also conducting the contest in 18 major cities over the course of the next 12 months. The tournament will start June 29th at the beautiful Grand Del Mar resort.

"We are very excited" said Ken Gora, CEO of Next Productions. "We feel our contest is a unique way to fight high unemployment, generate jobs for people, provide excitement and revenue in the local community and deliver a cost-effective way for companies and sponsors to increase their sales and branding. We encourage anyone who feels they have something to offer in sales, marketing or entrepreneurial skills to audition and compete in this contest"

Sponsoring companies get involved with the VP Contest so as to realize the sales revenue and branding from having 16 sales and marketing professionals marketing their products locally and around the United States. In the upcoming San Diego Sales Contest that starts June 29th, sponsoring San Diego companies such as EliveLife, Coastline Office Solutions, Lullababes, My Business Funding Source and Back into Balance will have their products marketed by the contestants. From marketing health and wellness services, to office supplies, to a home blanket accessory, to financial services, the contestants will show that they are the "Marketing Guru". "We are still able to accept and feature other San Diego companies that want sales revenue and branding" added Gora.

The final auditions will be held online or by phone. Interested San Diego area residents who want to compete for a $100,000 sales and marketing position and jobs with other companies, earn cash prizes or get exposure are encouraged to send their resume or call Next Productions.
In 2010, Kristen Baldwin, who had little formal sales or marketing experience, won the San Diego VP Contest and received two six figure job offers from companies. Three of the contests last year were also filmed for a reality TV pilot with an "American Idol" of Marketing concept.

Many of these sponsoring companies also have indicated an interest in hiring top performing professionals that succeed with their products during the contest.
