Saurabh Gaur Speaks About His Internship With TVS Motors

Online, June 26, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Saurabh Gaur is one of the four students placed on campus by BIMTECH for an internship with TVS motors. For Saurabh, who is from the 2011-13 PGDM Batch of BIMTECH, so far the internship has been quiet a roller-coaster ride.

"The project is all about the purchase decision of a customer in Delhi, with regards to the Apache model. There are two parts to the project I've been given. The first part is to assess on-ground, the service being provided by the company for which I had to visit 16 official TVS dealers. The other part of the project involves visiting 20 competitor dealers, to check on the process followed by them in servicing their customer."

The initial part of Saurabh's internship required him to zip on his bike, across most of the satellite township of the Delhi NCR borders, like Najafgarh, Narelaan, Nangloi. But once he got used to the method and pattern of the market survey - and was able to build a rapport with the dealers - a simple call began to do the trick. Saurabh belongs to Sahibabad, which is in Ghaziabad - well within the NCR region - while the TVS Motors office is in Lajpat Nagar. So the 'gharkakhaanaa' is the one big plus to this internship period!
