ScienceSoft Speaks About Augmented Reality at DevConf.mobi 2011

Online, May 6, 2011 (Newswire.com) - ScienceSoft Inc. took part in the 2-day conference for mobile technologies specialists held in Minsk, Belarus.

ScienceSoft iOS expert Alexey Starovoitov made a presentation on a much discussed trend of Augmented Reality (AR). The presentation gave a historical overview of the Augmented Reality and explained the term itself which was coined in 1992. It featured the AR classification, modern tendencies in the development of the technology as well as its application in various business domains, such as life sciences, education, media and entertainment. The topic inspired a number of questions from the audience and media.
