"Scoot" Through Raleigh's First Friday with Electric Scooter City-FREE Test-drives, Food and Music

Joining in the fun of First Friday and promoting the benefits of 'Green' transportation, Electric Scooter City opens its doors this Friday to offer the public free test-drives, food, drinks, music and giveaways.

This week, Electric Scooter City will join the Raleigh crowds for a First Friday open house event. The Open House is a chance to showcase the "green" benefits of using electric bicycles and scooters, such as zero toxic emissions, money savings on gas, and affordable upkeep and repairs. This week, all First Friday participants and onlookers in downtown Raleigh are invited to come by the store and test drive scooters and bikes, browse around the store, play cornhole, enter a T-shirt raffle, and take advantage of a storewide 20% OFF sale while enjoying free food and music!(Please be aware test-drives will be limited to persons 16 years of age and older).

About Electric Scooter City

For the past six years Rich Sathoff and Electric Scooter City, or E.Scooter City, have brightened Hillsborough Street in Raleigh with their eco-friendly alternative transportation shop and repair store. Electric Scooter City features electric bikes, scooters and mopeds for sale or rent to college students, professionals on the go, or the "green"-conscious individual 'scooting' around for their daily errands.

"This is a public event and free to all students, locals and really anyone out for First Friday," said Sathoff. "Stop by to take a scooter out for a spin, grab a drink and a sandwich and look around the E.Scooter City shop."

E.Scooter City carries the sleekest and newest models of scooters, bikes and mopeds in the area. You may also receive maintenance advice in order to make those needed repairs to keep your electric sidekicks buzzing.

The event is free and open to all ages. On your way down Hillsborough Street this Friday evening, make E. Scooter City a stop during your First Friday must-sees. Take family and friends and make it a date!
