Scope Executes Biomarking And Indexing Service For A Global Information Provider
Online, April 6, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Chennai: Scope eKnowledge Center (Scope), a leading content enhancement and knowledge services provider, has been selected by one of the world's leading sources of intelligent information for businesses and professionals for its biomarker research and indexing services. Under the agreement, Scope has indexed information collected for disease biomarkers and specific treatment biomarkers related to multiple sclerosis (MS), clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) and neuromyelitis optica (NO) from a designated set of medical journal articles.
Biomarkers are measurable indicators used to define a biological state and are set to become one of the major driving forces of pharmaceutical research and drug development in the coming years.
Scope's team of subject matter experts (SMEs) successfully indexed approximately 5,000 biomarker data from 125 journal articles in a timeframe of just two weeks. This task involved researching and studying design information and results, indexing marker information, and registering the source from which the indexing was performed (for example: journal name, title, and author).
Mr. R. Sivadas, CEO of Scope, comments, "We at Scope are extremely pleased to extend our portfolio of A&I services in the biomedical domain to one of the world's leading information services providers. Scope has proven competency and domain expertise in A&I services, and our team of SMEs offer highly competitive economies without compromising on quality. We look at this partnership as a demonstration of our strength in meeting high-end knowledge processing requirements."
