Dead Sea Souls (DSS), one of Scotland best upcoming bands launch their new EP "Fuzzy Rush" to a sold out crowd at Scotland's premier music venue King Tuts in Glasgow on Friday 30th of July.

Dead Sea Souls are releasing their first E.P. on Monday 2nd August and to launch this they are playing to a sold out crowd at King Tuts in Glasgow on Friday 30th July. King Tuts has witnessed some of the best unsigned bands around Scotland during its "Summer Nights" festival and have chosen West Lothian based funk band 'Dead Sea Souls' to headline on the last night. Having sold out gigs on their previous visits to King Tuts as a support act, they have been given the recognition of being top bill on a night that proves to be the finest of all summer nights gigs.

The band have recently joined new Glasgow label Big Rock Candy Records and have been steadily building their fan base within central Scotland for the past 2-3 years; honing their craft with infectious pop tunes and their amazing live shows. 'Dead Sea Souls' have been selling out headline slots all over the Central Belt and been building their reputation as a very solid support for multiple touring bands. Bands like The Sunshine Underground, The Invisible, Complete Stone Roses and Sergeant have all commented on the professionalism and quality of their tunes.

Dead Sea Souls have played gigs at Scotland's best venues including Glasgow Barrowlands, Liquid Rooms, HMV Picturehouse, as well as three sell out shows at King Tuts, including a support of 'Stornoway' in April 2010, selling their ticket allocation in record time.

Playing alongside them will be the popular bands 'The Draymin', a Fife based indie band, Stirling based band 'The Leads' and bluesy rock band 'The Black Rats'.

King Tuts is a live music venue in Glasgow and managed by gig promoters DF Concerts. The venue has won awards such as "Best Live Venue" and has played host to famous band's including Oasis, The Verve and Blur when they were releasing their first albums.
