Scuderi Clean Energy Begins First Phase of Clean Energy Project in Holyoke, Massachusetts

Scuderi Clean Energy, LLC (SCE) of West Springfield, MA announced today that it has formally begun phase one of its Clean Energy project known as Holyoke #1 located on Quantum Properties in Holyoke, MA. Utilizing patented methodologies, SCE produces electricity in a clean and energy efficient manner and reduces CO2 by using 100% of the waste or exhaust heat to manufacture commodities.

Scuderi Clean Energy, LLC (SCE) of West Springfield, MA announced today that it has formally begun phase one of its Clean Energy projects known as Holyoke #1 located on Quantum Properties in Holyoke, MA.

Scuderi Clean Energy, LLC holds a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) from Holyoke Gas and Electric (HG&E), along with a 20-year, 2-acre site lease agreement from Quantum Properties. With these now in place, SCE has ordered natural gas generators along with other ancillary equipment that will make full use of patented Scuderi Power Generation Technology and to help drive economic development along with job growth in a Gateway City.

Scuderi Clean Energy is currently working with a number of highly qualified local and national companies to ensure that permitting, construction and completion of the clean energy facility meets and exceeds their expectations. Scuderi Clean energy expects to add 12 to 16 new jobs per facility that are related to the clean production of electricity and for the manufacturing and sale of related products utilizing Scuderi's patented methodology.

Nicholas Scuderi, President of SCE stated that "this project, known as Holyoke #1 will not only serve the City of Holyoke's power needs, but will also be used as an example of what can be built in other communities to help stabilize and forecast the costs associated with peak demands of electricity. Also, by utilizing CHP to manufacture numerous products using our generator's waste heat, we significantly reduce the carbon footprint by substantially reducing the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) released into the atmosphere during the manufacturing process."

Scuderi added, "In deregulated states like Massachusetts we are taking full advantage of the Alternative Energy Credit (AEC) Program as these projects qualify 100 percent by using clean energy in the production and sale of electricity and by being extremely environmentally friendly in the manufacturing process for a variety of products that would normally be too costly to produce in an energy efficient manner."
