Seal Promotes Top Talent
Online, September 2, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Birmingham based PR and design agency Seal announces three key promotions for its Birmingham office as part of its five year strategic plan to focus on its award winning on and offline talent.
Nigel Pipkin assumes the role of managing director in the Birmingham operation, helping to drive the business forward and build on the agency's profile within the professional community. The promotion reflects the trust and respect Nigel has earned with his colleagues, clients and media alike.
Lucy Kemp has been promoted to PR director and will be building a strong consumer profile with national brands such as The Hospital Group, Michelin tyres and lifestyle publications.
Sarah Sanford takes the position of marketing director overseeing the design and marketing team with names like Marketing Birmingham and NEC Group in her portfolio. Sarah also undertakes a new remit seeing her nurturing fresh creative talent within the city through a dedicated training and graduate scheme.
Chief executive Katie Morris said: "Now is the time for a confident approach to our business. During the tough economic climate, we are proud not only to have kept our clients but to have grown our business with them. I wanted to recognise the real contribution these three star players have made and empower them here to drive the business forward to meet our ambitious medium-long term plans."
The promotions come on the back of a flurry of new business wins - a national remit for UK parcel delivery network Hermes, marketing and design brief from the ICC and a fully integrated three to five year strategic campaign for city centre based leisure destination Broadway Plaza.
Broadway Plaza manager Arthur Webb said: "We're delighted to be working with Seal. During the pitch process they demonstrated extensive marketing knowledge and unrivaled enthusiasm. This is an exciting time for Broadway Plaza and we hope we can encourage more people to enjoy the benefits of this great city centre leisure complex."
The new business wins and company restructure cement a successful year so far for the city centre agency. Nigel said: "This is an exciting time for me personally and the agency as a whole. The last few years have been challenging but we have a dynamic team in place that is winning business and creating a great place for young talent to be developed."
