Dogs in costume for Halloween

Dogs, cats and kids from across Brooklyn will woof it up for Halloween on Sunday, October 23rd at Sean Casey Animal Rescue’s 9th Annual Howl-O-Ween Bark Block Party. Spanning an entire city block in Windsor Terrace, this family-friendly event brings people together to celebrate the love of animals, Halloween, music, food and community. The festival will take place at 153 East 3rd Street, between Ft. Hamilton Parkway and Caton Avenue.

Many dogs, cats, reptiles, birds and other animals will be available for adoption at the event, which helps the shelter raise awareness for homeless pets and facilitates helping thousands of animals find their furrever homes.

We hold this event every year to thank the community for supporting our work with homeless pets as well as cultivate a sense of compassion among young people by providing a fun, safe way to engage and appreciate animals.
