Sean Willingham Stitches On Blue-Emu Sponsorship
Online, October 11, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Blue-Emu is thrilled to officially announce sponsorship of Professional Bull Rider (PBR) Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) rider Sean Willingham. After debuting with Blue-Emu sponsorship in Charlotte, N.C. for the Troy-Bilt Invitational, Willingham officially joins Team Blue-Emu for the remainder of the 2011 BFTS season. The Georgia cowboy grew up team roping, but says he always had his sights set on bull riding. "I always wanted to try it [bull riding]; roping wasn't a challenge," he said. "So, at age 15, I got on my first steer and I liked it and just stuck with it." Although eager to join professional bull riding an injury lead him to accept a rodeo scholarship to Western Texas College, where he competed for two years. After extreme success and a full recovery, he joined the PBR.
An avid wake boarder, he also enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and golf.
Blue-Emu is also a proud sponsor of PBR veteran riders JB Mauney, Shane Proctor, LJ Jenkins, Colby Yates, and Luke Snyder along with the PBR Sports Medicine Team & the "Wreck of Night" videos featured in the arena, as well as on the Blue-Emu and PBR's homepages.
