Seatronics Expands To Brazil
Seatronics, an Acteon Company, announces its latest expansion to Brazil. This is part of their three-year expansion plan.
Online, July 25, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Global marine equipment rental and sales specialist, Seatronics, an Acteon company, has continued its three-year expansion plan by opening a new office in Macae, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
With established bases in Aberdeen, UK; Abu Dhabi, UAE; Houston and Louisiana, USA; Perth, Australia; and Singapore, this new office in South America reflects the company's ongoing expansion and increased business from new and existing clients.
The vice president of the USA and Brazil regions of Seatronics, Mark Teles, who will lead the Brazilian team, said, "We have been fortunate to draw increasing interest from around the world. More and more of our customers are working in deeper offshore areas and it is essential that we have the equipment they require available worldwide for rental or purchase. With that in mind, we plan to offer rental and sales of marine electronic equipment, in-house repairs and services, calibration and 24-hour technical support. We already have two local experienced members on our team and are looking for new recruits."
The new office will mean a faster response time and better accessibility to other survey companies in the region. Seatronics has agreements with world-leading equipment manufacturers, including CodaOctopus, Valeport, Marine Magnetics, Predator ROV, Cooper Interconnect, BlueView, Zetechtics, Tritex NDT, J2 Engineering Services, Oceaneering, Global Marine, Seacon and Bowtech.
With a comprehensive stock of battery packs, connectors, whips and tails and having already experienced a great deal of business in a short space of time, it is clear that both Brazil and Seatronics will benefit from the new support and service facilities in the region. This will definitely be a great news to look forward to in the coming months or years.
