Seattle Band Is Strange!

Online, June 9, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Velcro Mindset is a four piece band based out of Seattle. The band's debut disc, Bring On The Strange, had media success with appearances in The Deli Magazine and on Radio Crystal Blue, Maximum Threshold Radio, RuKus Radio, and Radio Rock Cafe. The band is often described as all-original groovy/heavy/mellow/bluesy/Psychedelic/whatever Seattle rock band.

Starting in July, Velcro Mindset is kicking off their local concert series which is appropriately called The Bring On The Strange Series. The first show is on July 2nd at Cafe Venus / Mars Bar . The venue has been acclaimed as "hot spot" for music by The Seattle Weekly. Follow up shows in July will take place at Sha Gri La and The Shanty Tavern, both in Seattle.

In August, Velcro Mindset travels to Idaho to perform at a memorial concert and then back to Woodinviila, Washington to wrap up their local concert series. The band is currently working on media placement with variety of industry magazines such as Rolling Stone and Spin.

Pat Rosholt, Josh Holmes, Ben Quayle and Chris Weyers are Velcro Mindset. With each member bringing a unique point of view and musical styling to the band, Velcro Mindset can't be held captive by one (or many) genres.
