Secure Instant Messaging Company Brosix Nominated for Computer Weekly IT Security Blog Award
Online, November 1, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Private instant messaging company Brosix has been nominated for best "IT Security" blog for the 2009 Computer Weekly IT Blog Awards. These annual awards are in association with IBM and honor the best IT (information technology) bloggers from around the web. "It is an honor to be nominated for such a great award," Stefan Chekanov, Brosix CEO, said. "We strive to provide the best information on the Internet about instant messaging security and it's inspiring to know that we have been recognized for it."
Once blogs are nominated, Computer Weekly puts together a "shortlist" of blogs that are then presented to the public for online voting. Computer Weekly promotes the idea of heavy self-promotion because the winners are decided by readers. As of press time, the shortlist has not been announced yet.
Blogs can be nominated multiple times and there are several categories available, including Company/Corporate Blog (which Brosix has also been nominated for), Project Management, and their newest category, IT Twitter User of the Year.
