Seeking a logo for the HIMALAYA ARCHIVE JAPAN

Dear all,

The Himalaya Archive Japan is seeking submissions for a new logo. HAJ is a nonprofit organization based in Tokyo, Japan which promotes its activities with the concept"Thinking of the Earth, Thinking from the Himalayas." The new logo will be used for HAJ's promotional activities, original goods and other outreach efforts. Please consider the following when developing designs: 1) The logo should contain the character of "HAJ"; 2) should stem from the Himalayan region's unique characteristics such as the beautiful natural scenery, traditional culture, harmonious coexistence between human and nature, peaceful thought including nonviolence, etc.; 3) should be powerful and friendly; 4) should be created in colors suitable for scaling and monochrome use.

The winner (only ONE person) will be awarded 30,000 yen. The application deadline for the logo is midnight, Sunday July 25th, 2010.
