Senior Citizen Empowerment Subject Of New Strategy Meeting To Be Held At The Terrace Club In Midtown Manhattan

Strategy meeting to launch a new symposium series to formulate strategies and plans to empower seniors socially and economically, and change the conversations about aging and baby boomers

ISPAR Foundation, an international non-profit organization devoted to improving the lives of senior citizens, is launching the "ISPAR Forum on Senior Empowerment". The initial event, which will be held at noon on May 7th at the Terrace Club in New York City, is designed to educate and engage participants in discussion about strategies for promoting the social and economic emancipation of senior citizens. The May 7th forum will feature Ann Fry, an acclaimed speaker and coach on re-invention, and the founder of "We are Booming," an organization dedicated to giving the boomer generation the platform to have their voices heard.

"As an international organization that's devoted to improving the lives of our senior citizens and the world economy, we applaud Ann's leadership and efforts to re-invent the conversation on aging and we look forward to working alongside her to turn these conversations into real and positive changes for seniors", said CJ Kuo, President and CEO of ISPAR Foundation.

The Terrace Club is located in midtown Manhattan, between Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall, at 25 W. 51st Street.

About the organizers/hosts:

ISPAR Foundation (www.ispar.org) is an international non-profit organization that works to improve the lives of senior citizens and the communities they live in by helping seniors reclaim their rightful role as productive members of society and leverage the wealth of skills, talents, and experience they have acquired over a lifetime. ISPAR does this by partnering seniors with entrepreneurs and business leaders looking to jointly develop best-in-class products and services for the booming senior market.

Ann Fry and We are Booming (www.wearebooming.com) are working to build a virtual community in support of efforts to eliminate stereotypes and alter people's thinking on what it means to age and grow old.
