Sexting Images On Cell Phones Still A Problem For Teens And Adults? Maybe Not

One in five adults in the UK admit to 'sexting'. Teenagers and adults alike are falling victim to their own cell phone cameras. A quick picture soon finds itself on the school yard or lawyers desk.

Marge M of San Diego says "Thousands of teens around the country have been devastated when they realized that naked photos of themselves were circulated around school and beyond. Some teens even have committed suicide because of sexting.".

Could a solution have been discovered for sexting images and dissemination of other private images from cell phones?

Sexting images have become a part of everyday life. Whether married, dating or flirting it seems that sexting has become engrained in our society as an avenue of endearment or a digital wink. However the dark side of sexting has erupted in the news and has led many teenagers as well as adults into situations that they never intended. Images of a personal, private or personal nature have become increasingly common on cell phones, especially since the advent of super smart phones such as those powered by the google android system.

Whether an image is sent, emailed or downloaded from the internet it has become all too common to see the unintended concequences on the news.

The ability to put a stop to the wide publication of personal images and the digital redaction of images has become a hallmark of a solution provided by a cell phone application. The problem with these images is that they can be sent, emailed or copied from the cell phone. A solution appears to be applying a PIN number to the picture, and hiding it in another picture. Technicow Creations, a software company located in Las Vegas has created such an "image within an image with a PIN number" solution called ImageLock for Android based cell phones. Image Lock is an Android cell phone app available on the Android marketplace and can provide piece of mind for adults, parents and teens for less then 5 dollars. Parents knowing that teens will do what they do may consider loading this App onto their phone before trouble occurs. Whether sending or receiving these pictures, the trouble can be reduced or avoided with the Image Lock cell phone app.
