Shepherd's Village Hosts "Christmas In The Village" Fundraising Banquet & Silent Auction
Online, November 1, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Shepherd's Village is holding its annual gala, "Christmas In The Village" Fundraising Banquet & Silent Auction on Friday, November 30th. The event will be held at 6:30 pm in The Club at Treasure Island.
The event will feature keynote speaker, David Yates, CEO of Clearwater Marine Aquarium and Co-Producer of Dolphin Tale. Yates is also formally the CEO of the Ironman Triathlon. When Winter, the disabled dolphin came to the Aquarium, Yates had the foresight to see her story of survival as an inspiration to others. Today, he works to inspire all who struggle for a fresh start.
Celebrity Champion Shelton Quarles, former linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will also be in attendance. Quarles played his ten-year career from 1997 to 2006. He now serves as a scout for the Buccaneers. His IMPACT Foundation provides support to at-risk single parent families throughout the Tampa Bay area.

The donations from "Christmas In The Village" will benefit Shepherd's Village to help them in continuing to provide housing and resources to single parent families.
