Sheri Fink to Appear at LA Times Festival of Books

Local best-selling children's author to have signing and reading on USC campus this weekend

Local children's book author Sheri Fink will be appearing at the 18th annual LA Times Festival of Books, a prestigious literature exhibition on the USC campus this weekend. Sheri will be participating at both the Southern California Writers Conference booth and the Reading Is Fundamental Booth, where she will perform a reading of her third book, Exploring the Garden with the Little Rose.

Fink will be signing books in the Southern California Writers Conference Booth on Saturday, April 20 from 2-4 pm. She will perform her book reading at the Reading Is Fundamental / USC Headstart Booth on Sunday, April 21, beginning at 1 pm. As a special bonus, the first 25 children there will receive a free book from the USC Preschool.

The LA Times Festival of Books was established in 1996 with the goal of bringing together readers and writers in one grand gathering, and it has met great success over the years. The Festival is a free event open to the public and playing host to numerous author events, storytelling, and poetry readings.
