"Shit My Facebook Friends Say" Exposes the Therapeutic Benefits of Facebook
Online, October 19, 2010 (Newswire.com) - A representative from Aquavative, Inc. announced today that it will distribute the book "Shit My Facebook Friends Say" by Montez DeCarlo, author of "Black Chameleon Memoirs: Survival by Assimilation". The book is a compilation of amusing, uplifting, and inspirational quotes that were posted and shared on Facebook by the author's colorful Facebook friends, most of which who are his real friends and family members.
The format of the book is similar to Facebook's online format, which allows the reader to "like" or "unlike" a quote or write a comment. The quotes are separated into five categories entitled Silly Shit, Random Shit, Relationship Shit, Religious Shit, and Inspirational Shit.
"With all the negative press today regarding bullies and bullying on social networks, I thought the book would be an interesting and a much needed positive twist for social networking", replied DeCarlo when asked why he chose to create this type of book. "Hopefully, readers will use the quotes as inspirational therapy to kick off their daily routines just as I do each day. If everyone starts the day with a smile on their face, maybe this world would be a better place. By the way, Confucius has nothing on my Facebook friends and family."
Shit My Facebook Friends Say will be released in December 2010, but can be purchased today from its website at a pre-press discount rate.
Montez DeCarlo is the co-author/editor of Our Sacred Identity: The Book of American Indian Names and Their Meanings, which is the first and only book of its kind, and the author of Black Chameleon Memoirs: Survival by Assimilation.
