Shmoop and PBS Share Distinction of Being the Only Education Websites to Be Honored Two Years in a Row by the Webby Awards

Online, May 3, 2010 (Newswire.com) - MOUNTAIN VIEW, California (April 13, 2010) - Shmoop (www.shmoop.com), a publisher of digital resources that make learning fun and relevant for students, was recognized today for the second consecutive year as an Official Honoree in the education category of the Webby Awards. PBS.org is the only other website to be recognized for the past two years in the education category of the Webby Awards.

According to the Webby Awards, nearly 10,000 entries were submitted to the 14th Annual Webby Awards. Fewer than 15% of entries were distinguished as an Official Honoree. This honor signifies an outstanding caliber of work.
