SHRM Announces Launch of Benefits Broker Evaluation and Hiring Tool

ALEXANDRIA, Va., January 23, 2018 (Newswire.com) - The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has announced the launch of a new tool, SHRM Broker Finder, which provides HR professionals a curated marketplace to help them research, evaluate and select the employee benefits broker or consultant that best suits the needs of their organization.

The online platform provides a national, searchable marketplace of broker candidates and an easy-to-use request for proposal (RFP) so companies can score and assess candidate responses as part of their evaluation process. The RFP tool was developed in consultation with both HR professionals and brokers to ensure that the RFP considers the issues most essential to the effective matching of employers and brokers.

In evaluating options for helping its members find a broker, SHRM selected Elevate Benefits LLC as its technology and sales partner for the SHRM Broker Finder service.

The SHRM Broker Finder database includes information on more than 1,000 brokers that is searchable by multiple factors, such as geographic region and specialties.  The platform also provides HR professionals with a select group of verified brokers who have completed a screening process to give employers added insight as they evaluate their broker options.
