Signature Medicine Believes Both Quantity and Quality Matters When It Comes to Patient Healthcare
Newtown, PA, September 2, 2015 (Newswire.com) - In a traditional practice, a primary care physician may care for a few thousand patients. In Signature Medicine's practice, the number of patients is limited to a few hundred. This is intentional as it allows Dr. Sitapara and his staff to focus on one thing: PATIENT CARE. Signature Medicine combines components of primary care as traditionally covered under health insurance programs but with a host of added, enhanced and personal benefits.
Patients who join Signature Medicine's concierge medicine practice want personal attention. Concierge medicine provides members the ability to make same day appointments with minimal waiting, call, email, text and receive home and Telemedicine visits from Dr. Sitapara. As part of the concierge medicine program, you’ll have 24/7 access to Dr. Sitapara.
"Dr. Sitapara quietly and patiently listens to me. I don't feel rushed in and out; I don't fall within three checked boxes on a pre-made form. He listens to everything I have to say and gives me a level of care that I didn't think existed in medicine anymore."

Dr. Sitapara is well known for the class he taught at University of Pennsylvania called “Good Doctoring,” an innovative course that was designed to help medical students have more compassion and understanding for what their patients were experiencing. His focus on concierge medicine allows him to integrate the patient-centered principles of the “Good Doctoring” class completely into his private practice. Signature Medicine considers patient needs first and creates an environment of comfort and security where medical care is a partnership between the patient, their lifestyle choices and a physician with extensive knowledge and experience in the field of internal medicine and wellness. “We are committed to our patients and are prepared to do whatever it takes to ensure that our members have a healthcare plan that is customized to meet their specific healthcare needs.” – Ashish Sitapara, M.D.
Patient experience is key to both their health and the success of Signature Medicine. Patients have noted him to be compassionate with a comforting, “down to earth” bedside manner. "Dr. Sitapara quietly and patiently listens to me. I don’t feel rushed in and out; I don’t fall within three checked boxes on a pre-made form. He listens to everything I have to say and gives me a level of care that I didn’t think existed in medicine anymore."
