Menlo Park, CA, October 27, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Last October, Silicon Valley’s prestige jeweler opened it’s second store in the Rosewood Sand Hill Hotel. On October 28th and 29th, the brand will mark the first anniversary of its Flagship Store by hosting a multifaceted celebration that includes an invitation only fashion event with celebrity stylist Mary Gonsalves Kinney, an haute horlogerie panel discussion, as well as a viewing of the new McLaren prototype. Ten percent of all sales during the two-day event will be donated to My New Red Shoes and both boutiques will serve as drop off locations for donated athletic shoes.
My New Red Shoes is a local organization that helps homeless and low-income children look and feel confident as they start the school year by providing them with the gift of new clothing and shoes. On October 28th and 29th, Stephen Silver will be giving a $250 gift certificate to anyone dropping off a pair of new athletic shoes for school age children at either boutique location. Donors will also be entered into a drawing for and chance to win a spectacular piece from the Stephen Silver vault.
"We are pleased with the notoriety that our uniquely curated timepieces and jewelry collections have received over the last year. The flagship store has become a destination for watch collectors and jewelry buyers across the world looking for rare pieces. Giving back to the community in which we've seen such tremendous success is a fundamental part of the way we do business."
Andrew Block, President
Enthusiasts have the opportunity to set a private meeting with representatives from Arnold & Son, Audemars Piguet, Bell & Ross, Gruebel Forsey, Hermes, HYT, Laurent Ferrier, MB&F, Richard Mille and Ulyses Nardin. Representatives from the watch companies will attend and display incredible pieces that will draw considerable attention from local watch collectors.
Adding to the excitement of the celebration, on October 28th & 29th, McLaren will be displaying their prototype 570 and the 650s. Budnitz will be unveiling their official Stephen Silver bicycle that will be on display through the remainder of the year. Champagne, whiskey, and wine will be served on both days.
