Simple Design Changes Turns Boring Dress Shirts Into Functional And Stylish Wear
Men are active. But men's dress shirts are restrictive. Function & Form, a new menswear design company came up with three ideas that turns men's dress shirts into an active wear but maintains the classic look!
Online, October 20, 2013 (Newswire.com) - If it works, don't fix it - right? Well, does men's dress shirts really serve its purpose? The guys at Function & Form tend to think otherwise. They've recently launched a new Kickstarter campaign that attempts to reinvent how men's premium dress shirts are designed, made, and also worn. There are three things that stand out:
1. Extra button at the neck opening. After wearing and washing dress shirts a few times, the neck opening can be a bit of a nuance. Unbutton one and it's still a bit too stuffy. Unbutton two and it opens up the "Grand Canyon"- revealing chest hair or undershirt. F&F guys basically added an extra button exactly where you need it to be for better control.
2. Extra inner sleeve. We all need to roll up our sleeves from time to time, but it never seems to stay up properly. With F&F's extra cooling inner sleeve, you simply pull up the sleeve and it'll stay up. Works just like your favorite sweatshirt!
3. Moisture wicking, Quick drying, Cooling armpit/back materials. Ah, yes, the embarrassing sweat marks on the armpits. All men want to avoid this. F&F basically infused different type of fabrics in these areas so that moisture is never locked in. It's like wearing your favorite soccer jersey - that looks like a premium dress shirt!
Right now, you can only get your hands on these dress shirts from their recently launched Kickstarter campaign :
