SIMUL8 Awards East Tennessee Children's Hospital with Professional License

SIMUL8 Corporation sharing the benefits of simulation with East Tennessee Children's Hospital, by awarding them a SIMUL8 Professional License at the recent Society for Health Systems conference (SHS).

SIMUL8 Corporation, developers of simulation software that has been designed to build and improve processes, awarded a SIMUL8 2012 Professional License to East Tennessee Children's Hospital last week.

The SIMUL8 License was awarded as part of a competition at the recent Society for Health Systems (SHS) Conference. The conference, which took place in February of this year, featured best practices in quality, productivity and efficiency for healthcare industry decision makers and providers.

Isaac Mitchell, Lean Process Coordinator at East Tennessee Children's Hospital, was personally contacted with the news of winning and shared his plans to improve processes and patient care by using simulation. Isaac said he was "delighted to receive the SIMUL8 Professional license and is looking forward to using it on a variety of projects including sterile processing, clinic scheduling, chemo-ordering and Operational Research scheduling".

East Tennessee Children's Hospital provides 30 pediatric specialties and, has been the primary provider of pediatric care in East Tennessee for 75 years offering extraordinary care and service to patients, their families, and the community.
