Singapore's Best Employers Revealed

Singapore, October 8, 2015 (Newswire.com) - After surveying over 1,300 employees from 118 companies, Human Resources Director (HRD) magazine in partnership with the Center for Creative Leadership have announced Shell Eastern Petroleum as Singapore’s best large company in the 2015 Employer of Choice report. 

Based on results from a nation-wide survey conducted by HRD in June/July this year, the 2015 Employer of Choice results recognise companies that were rated the best by their employees across criteria from career progression and training opportunities to salary and health and wellbeing initiatives.

Marina Bay Sands and Singtel came in at #2 and #3 respectively in the 500+ Employees category. Smaller company size categories were topped by Jardine One Solution (100-499 Employees) and Power2Motivate (1-99 Employees).

“Being an Employer of Choice comes down to one thing: engagement. And with engagement comes that elusive extra element: discretionary effort,” says HRD managing editor Iain Hopkins. “Importantly, these awards were voted on not by HR professionals themselves, but the people within their organisations.”

Companies vying for the title of Employer of Choice represent a range of industries from banking to health, hospitality, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, professional services and more.
