Singer and Songwriter Jd Webb Nominated For 2010 Emmy

Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer, Jd Webb has been nominated for an Emmy Award in the category of OUTSTANDING ORIGINAL SONG FOR A DRAMA SERIES for the song "Captured" from Days of Our Lives.

Los Angeles, CA (May 26, 2010)- Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer, Jd Webb has been nominated as the lyricist for a 2010 Emmy award in the category of OUTSTANDING ORIGINAL SONG FOR A DRAMA SERIES for the song "Captured" from the fan favorite soap opera "Days of Our Lives." After a successful nationwide tour, his single "Big For Me" stayed in the top 40 on the Urban AC charts for eight weeks and he now has released his new single "This Could Be Love" off his 2009 debut solo project "The Introduction."

Regarding the nominated song, "Captured," Webb shares, "The writing process was very natural. It was like many of the songs I've written, it just kind of wrote itself." He continues saying, "Being nominated for an Emmy is really exciting. It's an honor to be recognized by your peers. Music is my passion and I feel blessed to do what I love and the recognition is the icing on the cake."

This is not the first time Webb has been recognized for his musical ability. Noted as a "prolific songwriter" by Rolling Stone magazine and an esteemed recipient of Billboard Magazine's "stamp of approval," Webb continues to demonstrate his significance in the music industry. He has been critically-acclaimed with his former group projects and he has performed before tens of thousands at sold out tours in the United States, as well as internationally. In fact, he is set to embark on another international tour throughout Asia this coming fall.
