Sip, Savor and Support New Day at Savor the Flavor, a Local Tasting Event at Downtown at the Gardens on September 9th

Online, June 18, 2011 (Newswire.com) - PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL -- On Friday, September 9th, New Day will host a tasting event showcasing the local flavors of Northern Palm Beach County at Downtown at the Gardens from 5:30 - 8:00pm.

This inaugural event brings together food lovers and friends of New Day Adult Day Care for a fun-filled evening of sips and bites from favorite local food and drink establishments, live music and a silent auction. Savor the Flavor is an opportunity for attendees to sample local specialties by talented Palm Beach County proprietors while at the same time helping to support the services New Day provides to the local community. New Day Administrator, Julie Tombari is excited to introduce the event to the community, "We're thrilled that a lot of people are already a part of the Savor the Flavor event and hope that many more will come to see what it's all about."

All proceeds will benefit New Day in its efforts to support the local community by enabling seniors in need of support to remain living at home and avoid institutionalization.
