Sizzling Beauty Queen Takes on Hollywood

Preity just completed a major photo shoot in Los Angeles with celebrity photographer Ash Gupta and the heat of LA was nothing compared to the heat Preity generated on the set.

Preity Ãœupala is a young visionary who grew up in Dubai and whose acting and modeling career now has her splitting her time between LA and Sydney Australia. She became an overnight star in China in 2010 when she received three film awards at the Asia Pacific Film festival in China. Preity's fame in China exploded when she shared a stage with stage with Mr. Jackie Chan and was later honored by him. Already in her career, she has been featured on the front page of every major newspaper in Asia, made a splash at the 64TH Cannes film festival and was involved in a French TV Pilot. At the recent shoot in LA it was just another day in the life is Preity Uupala as the film crew captured her stunning beauty on video. Preity's career began at the age of 16 when her exquisite beauty was captured at a photo shoot in Sydney and it was then that she began a career in modeling and that led to her move to Los Angeles. Modeling also led to many national and International beauty pageant titles including Miss India international AP 2012, Miss India Portugal 2011 and Miss Photogenic International. She was one of the finalists of Miss Earth Australia 2009 and was the first model of Indian or Portuguese heritage to make it to the finals.

Preity is not just another pretty face. She graduated with 2 degrees- a B.Tech and a B.Marketing and was offered a scholarship to study for a PHD at her alma mater. She worked as an investment banker and was able to travel all over the world. She also studied acting at NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Arts) in Sydney, which boasts famous alumni, Mel Gibson and Cate Blanchet.

Her intense performances mesmerized audiences all over Sydney and she received a scholarship to the prestigious Film Academy of New York. In a nut shell, she is an Investment banker turned beauty queen turned Hollywood actor.
