"The Angel Tree program was a great opportunity for our company to give back for the holidays. We are always looking for opportunities to make a difference in the communities that have given us so much. We're so proud to be able to support the mission of the Salvation Army and to help brighten this holiday season for thousands of kids right in our backyard," said SkillStorm CEO Vince Virga.
The Salvation Army of Broward County Angel Tree program provides underprivileged children with holiday gifts. The program allows individuals in participating organizations to sponsor local children. Sponsors are given the child's age and gender in order to purchase appropriate gifts. The Angel Tree program is a volunteer-driven program with people from all over Broward County donating toys, time and expertise to help their neighbors in need. Over 3,000 children received toys through the program.
