Small Plates in SOMA: The Cookbook Project Hosts 2nd Annual San Francisco/Bay Area Fundraiser to Support Local Food Education Programs

Join The Cookbook Project on 6/11/14 in San Francisco for Iberian-inspired dishes, refreshing drinks and an exclusive opportunity to network with the Bay Area's foodie community. Proceeds support the Food Literacy Initiative in the Bay Area & beyond

The Cookbook Project, a global non-profit organization that empowers youth to be catalysts for healthier communities through food literacy and cooking education, will be hosting its 2nd annual Bay Area fundraiser on June 11, 2014. Proceeds will be used to support the Cook Book Project's new Food Literacy Initiative in the Bay Area and beyond.

The Cookbook Project works with individuals and groups aligned with the organization's mission to facilitate workshops and trainings focused on the connection between food, health, and the environment. Through various programs the Cook Book Project provides capacity building trainings and inspirational community development opportunities.

WHAT: The fundraiser will feature Iberian inspired small plate tastings, locally sourced beverages, live Spanish guitar music, and an exclusive silent auction and raffle.
