SmartAVI Introduces Its Latest Video Switching Application Enabling Multiple Data Sources To Be Displayed On A Single HDMI Format
Online, May 6, 2013 (Newswire.com) - SmartAVI, Inc., a world-leading innovator of digital signage and audiovisual signal distribution, extension, and switching, has unveiled V2VMAX, its latest product in the line of video switchers. Video switchers enable multiple computers, DVD players, and gaming consoles to share a single display or projector. V2VMAX allows a single device to connect videos, YPbPr videos, VGA (PC), USB media files and other data sources to a single 1080p HDMI output.
The V2VMAX contains six input ports, including 1 CVBS NTSC and PAL with Audio input, YPbPr with Audio input, VGA with Local audio support up to 1920x1080, HDMI 1080p with automatic EDID leaning and USB. V2VMAX supports MPEG, H.264, RM/RMVB movie decode, JPEG, BMP, and PNG files, allowing users the freedom to display any type of information file on a single HDMI screen.
"SmartAVI created V2VMAX to simplify the process of displaying information, eliminating the need to spend large amounts of time and money converting different sources of data files to be displayed on a common screen," said Albert Cohen, lead engineer at SmartAVI. "V2VMAX is the ideal solution for users who make presentations using multiple input sources." For example, V2VMAX has been successfully used in court rooms, where each party has evidence to present on a different data file. V2VMAX enables each party to connect its own PC, USB drive, VCR, DVD player or other input source to the video switcher and display the data on a single HDMI 1080p screen. Each input is automatically scaled and converted to HDMI 1080p format, and each video input also supports the native audio format. V2VMAX has also been used in hospitals and universities, where various departments gather data in various formats. V2VMAX allows each data source to be converted and displayed on a single HDMI screen in board meetings and presentations.
