Snoozaboo Launches New Baby Sleeping Bags Specially Adapted For Tropical Climates

Online, September 28, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Snoozaboo has launched a new range of 100% cotton baby sleeping bags for use in tropical climates. Unlike imported baby sleeping bags which are designed by manufacturers in colder climates, this home-grown brand of baby sleeping bags is lightweight enough to prevent overheating, whilst still providing a secure sleep environment for babies.

A baby sleeping bag is a wearable blanket that can't be kicked off. It is a safer alternative to blankets since it keeps the baby's nose and face uncovered, and hence it helps to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). It also prevents the baby from waking up due to sudden temperature changes when blankets get kicked off. In addition, baby sleeping bags help to create a positive sleep association, since the baby will learn to associate being in the sleeping bag with bedtime.

Previously, the baby sleeping bags available in this region were mostly too warm to be used without significant air-conditioning. Many were made with fabric/materials that were not very breathable such as polyester. Snoozaboo's range of baby sleeping bags can be used in room temperatures up to 27°C, and are made only with highly-breathable premium 100% cotton fabric.
