Another round of fresh snow has continued the string of powder days and exceptional conditions at Squaw Valley USA.

As the month begins and the winter season hits full stride, another round of fresh snow has continued the string of powder days and exceptional conditions at Squaw Valley USA. The mountain received an additional 10" of snow on Wednesday night, setting the resort up for phenomenal skiing conditions this weekend.

Squaw Valley received 8-10" of new snow Wednesday night, and skiers and snowboarders were greeted with fresh powder and wind buffed snow conditions on Thursday morning. The new snow brings the resort's season snowfall totals to 464 inches or over 38 feet.

Squaw Valley USA hosts the opening ceremonies of the 30th Annual North Lake Tahoe Snowfest on Friday, including a torchlight parade and fireworks display. Snowfest is a ten-day winter carnival, known as 'Mountain Mardi Gras', with numerous events and activities at venues around the region.

Available now for purchase at $189 for adults, the Squaw Legend 3-Pack will be valid February 26, 2011 through the end of the 2010-11 winter season, with no date restrictions. While the pass is reloadable in increments of 3 throughout the season for the same rate, the original purchase must be made on or before March 11.
