SOAR Study Skills announces the publication of their first-ever comprehensive Study Skills Resource Guide. The 32-page, full-color glossy guide includes in-depth information about what study skills are, why they are important, and how to teach them.

This guide is an invaluable resource for teachers, administrators, tutors, and parents who want to give their students the countless advantages that possessing strong study skills provides.

"We are excited to be able to share the power of study skills with so many through this Resource Guide," said Susan Kruger M.Ed., President of the SOAR Study Skills Company. "Most students struggle in school because they don't know how to study or organize themselves. The K-12 system is not built to teach these skills because national and state standards are based on content, not on processing. As we struggle to prepare students for a competitive global economy, they need to learn how to learn strategically."

The Resource Guide is formatted for easy access to information. A clear table of contents directs readers to the sections that will be of the most use to them. The three sections of the Guide are: General Information, Educators, and Parents & Students.

In addition to information about what study skills are and why they are critical for student success, the Resource Guide also features the products that SOAR offers to teach study skills. "All of our programs are centered on empowering students to have more control over their academic and personal lives and be more successful," said Kruger.

The Resource Guide also marks the launch of six brand-new products that SOAR will be offering for the first time through this Resource Guide. Among these six products are the company's first ever offerings for the elementary classroom.
