Soccer and Rugby Imports Donates to the Kick for Nick Foundation

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, July 3, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Soccer and Rugby Imports, an online sports apparel and equipment retailer, is excited to announce their donation toward the Kick for Nick Foundation. The company has generously donated 50 soccer balls to that foundation which supports U.S. troops and volunteer efforts. The efforts work to foster unity, strength and cohesion around the world.

The Kick for Nick Foundation delivers sports equipment to underprivileged children so that they can have an equal opportunity to enjoy sports. The Kick for Nick Foundation was initiated in memory of PFC Nicholas A. Madaras of Wilton, CT who lost his life while on duty in Iraq in the later part of 2006.

Nick was a devoted and eager footballer, coach and referee all throughout his youth. While in Iraq, Nick realized how talented many children over there were at the game of soccer. Although they didn’t have the privilege of owning a soccer ball themselves, Nick saw that talent that was there as they played soccer with tin cans. In honor of Nick, Soccer and Rugby Imports is donating soccer balls to children in less fortunate countries.

Soccer and Rugby Imports is dedicated to donating to various charities around the globe in an effort to bring joy to those less fortunate.
