Soccer & Rugby Imports Announces Scholarship Opportunity for College Students Across the United States

Southport, CT., March 16, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Soccer and Rugby Imports, a soccer and rugby gear and active wear supplier headquartered in Connecticut and New York, is offering the chance for one college student to win a scholarship to go towards their school-related expenses.

The 2017 Soccer and Rugby Youth Sports Programs Scholarship is open to any student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program by January 1st, 2018 at any accredited U.S. college, university or institute.

Each applicant must submit an essay of 500 words or less that includes the following:

(1) Applicant’s name, address, phone number, and the university or institute of attendance as of January 1, 2018.

(2) ESSAY QUESTION:

“Did you ever participate in a Youth Sports Program? If so, which one(s)? How has participating in youth sports programs helped your character development? Did you feel any joy of accomplishment? What life skills did you learn?”

The submission deadline is December 21st, 2017, and the winner will be announced on January 11th, 2018. Each applicant must submit his or her application via the online form.
