​​​Nexd, Inc. today announced the appointment of Larry H. Warnock as President & CEO. Warnock joins Nexd as the company begins private beta, harnessing its artificial intelligence and predictive analytics platform to transform the CRM industry, moving from data entry to an intelligent, proactive sales engine.

Warnock brings more than 25 years of experience launching and building innovative software companies, spanning cloud, mobile, security and big data industries. Over the past decade, he’s led Gazzang and Phurnace from launch through venture funding to successful acquisitions by Palo Alto-based Cloudera and Houston-based BMC Software, respectively. Most recently, Warnock served as an executive consultant for SimplyTapp, Inc. and Boundary, Inc. His career also includes executive roles at Vignette (acquired by OpenText), OnLink (acquired by Siebel) and Documentum (acquired by EMC).

As President and CEO, Warnock will focus on advancing the vision of Nexd, tapping the power of applied AI and Advanced Machine Learning—listed among Gartner’s Top Strategic Trends for 2017—to solve today’s most critical sales management challenges. In addition to aligning the product with market needs through a series of “Flagship Betas”, he will work to build a high-performing team, instill a customer-first culture and pursue venture funding.
