Solitaire by MobilityWare Introduces Game Center Support

MobilityWare announces the latest release of its hit app, Solitaire, now supports Apple's Game Center. Solitaire users are able to track achievements, see how their scores compare on a leaderboard, and invite their friends to play a game.

Irvine, California - MobilityWare today is pleased to announce Solitaire 2.8, the latest release of its hit app which has just been approved for sale in the App Store, supports Apple's Game Center. Game Center is Apple's new social gaming network that allows users to track achievements, see how their scores compare on a leaderboard, and invite friends to play a game.

Solitaire has long been one of the mainstays of the Top 100 category in the App Store since its release. Solitaire has amassed over ten million downloads - an even more impressive achievement considering that it was reached in a span of six months.

"We are thrilled that Solitaire, which has long been one of our most successful apps, will be supporting leaderboards," says Otto Chan, Director of Marketing, MobilityWare. "With over ten million installations of Solitaire, you'll have a better chance of competing with your friends than with any other Solitaire application," added Chan.

Since Solitaire has the option to play with one card draws and three card draws, there will be separate leaderboards for each setting. In addition to leaderboards, Solitaire will also support achievements, which are unlocked during gameplay.

MobilityWare is always continuing to develop new applications for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, adding to an already impressive catalog. Search for MobilityWare in the iTunes App Store to view their library of applications, many of which are free for download.
