Solo Tapas - Spanish Sandwich Chain Growth Plans Like Starbucks?
Solo Tapas starting its franchise operations withing the next sixty days, now open at the TCL Chinese Theatres (formerly known as Grauman's Chinese Theatre within the Dolby Complex on Sunset and Highland)
Online, July 23, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Solo Tapas, which opened its first flagship location at the acclaimed W Hotel in Hollywood, California in May 2013 has recently opened its second location at the TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly known as Grauman's Chinese Theatre).
Solo Tapas at the Chinese Theatre is located inside the Chinese Theatres 6 complex on the third floor and offers a variety of sixty plus Montados (Spanish sandwiches), salads and other delicious Spanish original food items.
Solo Tapas is set to start its franchise activity within the next sixty days and is currently in negotiations with Mesa, Arizona based International Franchise Systems (IFS) to administer Solo Tapas' franchise sales development.
Within the next five years Solo Tapas is expecting to open a total of 400-600 franchised locations and another 100 corporate owned restaurants within the US. The initial focus will be the Western US States but International interest is already building up fast with only two locations opened thus far.
The management of Solo Tapas points out that most people in the US are accustomed to overpriced Spanish restaurants and that their concept is about to change that very perception; good food at affordable prices.
Solo Tapas is not only unique in its decor, which is typical Spanish but also with its assortment of true Spanish food items and beers. Their bread is from Seville, Spain from a company that has been in the bread making business for over 100 years - Pansur. Their featured beer is Estrella Damm, which hails from Barcelona and the second largest beer company in Spain. But Solo Tapas is offering another interesting item; their very own Solo Tapas beer, a honey blonde brew.
A big future is in the cards for this Spanish fast-casual concept. Solo Tapas is not only offering a great value to its customers but also a unique new concept.
