Solstas Lab Partners Acquires Three Regional Laboratories

Online, August 1, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Greensboro, NC-based Solstas Lab Partners, one of the nation's fastest-growing full-service laboratories, has acquired Southern Diagnostic Laboratories of Birmingham, Alabama, as well as Nextwave Diagnostic Laboratories and Wilmington Pathology Laboratory (WPL), both based in Wilmington, N.C.

WPL is a highly respected local laboratory with an acute focus on cytology, particularly Pap and HPV testing. It offers a broad range of histology services to hospitals and physicians, with exclusive services provided to Wilmington Pathology Associates (WPA), a prestigious anatomic pathology group.
