Sore Feet and a Few Goats: How a Group of Backpackers Kick-Started 200 Businesses

Denver, Colorado, June 3, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Denver-based social enterprise OneSeed Expeditions announced today their 242nd microfinance loan, surpassing more than $100,000 in funds disbursed to small-scale entrepreneurs throughout Asia and Latin America. 

Founded in 2010, OneSeed Expeditions is a mountain guiding company that uses that power of travel to fund creative solutions to poverty.  Offering locally-guided expeditions in Nepal, Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Colombia, OneSeed invests 10 cents of every incoming dollar into microfinance initiatives in the regions where they operate.
