Soundman Car Audio Debuts The First Surface Tablet Car Installation!
Doug Bernards, who was the first to install iPads in vehicles, does it again with Microsoft's Surface Tablet!
Online, December 19, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Doug Bernards, of SoundMan Car Audio, and Revision 3's web series Amplified, has once again made car audio history this week. Bernards, who was the first to install the iPad in vehicles, has been the authority on in-vehicle tablet installations since he debuted his groundbreaking work. After perfecting the installation of the new iPad Mini, Bernards turned his sights to Apple's largest competition, the Microsoft Surface Tablet.
Bernards notes the Surface's ease of use with the new Windows 8 App Tiles; however the width did prove more challenging to fit into the dash. Bernards' install was into a Ford F150, and he is currently designing plans for a list of other makes/models.
