South Bend Dental Office Releases New Website

Dr. Nicole Hurcomb, a cosmetic dentistry provider, has unveiled a state-of-the-art website with videos and easy scheduling information for patients.

The new website, www.TulipTreeDentalCare.com, is compatible with all web browsers and mobile devices. Dr. Hurcomb, who operates Tulip Tree Dental Care, said she created the new site to showcase the practice’s comprehensive services and help patients learn about their oral health issues.

“With this new and improved website, we can connect with more community members and potential patients in ways like never before,” Dr. Hurcomb said. “One of the most exciting features is that people can use this website to educate themselves about what’s going on in their mouths — along with learning everything they need to know about our dental practice.”

The new website includes fresh content about Dr. Hurcomb’s transformative dental services; a smile gallery of Dr. Hurcomb’s dental creations; video testimonials from patients and even the Tulip Tree Dental Care staff; and convenient scheduling options.

Site visitors can also access free blogs written by Dr. Hurcomb about the latest changes in dentistry and the ways in which her patients are improving their smiles. Dr. Hurcomb also has free e-books available for download on her website about dentures and orthodontics.

“As oral health professionals, our job is to treat problems but also to educate our patients,” Dr. Hurcomb said. “The new website gives us constant contact with patients and serves as an extension of our friendly family-oriented office.”

Tulip Tree Dental Care is a family-friendly dental office that offers treatments in general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry and short-term orthodontic solutions. Dr. Hurcomb has received additional training in restoring dental implants and offers Invisalign, which uses clear aligners to gradually move teeth into a more appropriate position.

Tulip Tree Dental Care can also straighten teeth without braces using Ortho-Tain, a removable oral appliance for children. The appliance, which looks similar to a mouthguard, helps guide the permanent teeth into place as they erupt and aligns the jaw in a more appropriate position. Dr. Hurcomb uses Ortho-Tain for children as early as 3, and in many cases, the children can forego expensive orthodontic treatment later in their life. Studies also show that Ortho-Tain can improve children’s breathing habits, help children sleep through the night and reduce bedwetting.

Dr. Hurcomb was born and raised in Crown Point and is a third-generation dentist. She started working in her father’s dental office when she was 13 years, learning about dentistry and how to manage a dental practice. She attended Indiana University Bloomington for her undergraduate studies and then earned her dental degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry. She worked at her father’s dental practice for one year before spending more than six years working at other northern Indiana dental offices. She purchased Tulip Tree Dental Care in 2014.

Dr. Hurcomb completes several hours in continuing education courses every year and has taken Bell Leadership courses. She has training in laser dentistry and is a certified provider of Ortho-Tain and Invisalign.
