Spas and Stuff Announces a New Line of Hot Tubs

• The Columbia Spas Line Features Latest Hot Tub Technology

Tampa, FLA (PRWEB) June 19, 2010 -- Spas and Stuff, a national leader in Hot Tubs and Saunas, announced today a new line of Hot Tubs, Columbia Spas. Columbia Spas provide state-of-the-art comfort while providing the latest in technology options, such as Expansion Foam Insulation, Premium Lucite Acrylics with Microban®, low power consumption that is equivalent to 75 watt light, exceptional water flow that is approximately 2400 gal/hour, Corona Discharge Ozone Generator which helps reduce the amount of chemicals used, and a replaceable "chip" that ensures years of use.

"The Columbia Spa line boast many of the latest in features and functions offered today, added Mike Stampfer, Director of Public Relations for Spas and Stuff. "However, this new line is one of the few that uses expansion foam insulation, which makes them fully winter-rated and preserves the energy expended to keep each spas water at a comfortable temperature."

In addition, this expansion foam is applied with an average R-value of 30 to save on heating costs. It is not affected by moisture and does not lose R-value over time like other foams and fiberglass. It covers the entire tub and plumbing to hold in heat and keep the owners energy costs low. A leak is very unlikely, but this insulation will actually "wick" the water to the surface, helping to pinpoint the leak.

Maintenance-conscious customers will applaud the Columbia's offering Premium Lucite Acrylics with Microban ®. Microban protection inhibits the growth of bacteria that can cause stains and odors on the tub surface. The continuous antimicrobial protection makes tub surfaces easier to clean and keeps them more bacterial-free between cleanings. Due to the fact that it is built-in during manufacturing, it will not wash off or wear for an added level of cleanliness that will last throughout the life of the tub.

"With the high cost of electricity, people seeking to purchase a hot tub are taking its total power consumption into consideration. The new line of Columbia hot tubs offset this by using less power, making for a total lower cost of ownership throughout the life of the tub," explained Stampfer.

The Columbia line includes a state-of-the-art electronic control system to ensure safe and reliable operation of each spa. The In.Xe control system comes with a user-friendly, touch key control pad with bright LED display. The electronic control pad allows control to all spa functions with the touch of a button. The In.Xe control system also includes a 4000 watt, 825 incoloy stainless steel heater to keep each spa's water warm for many years to come.
